REMINDER - Parents are reminded that students should not arrive at CMS before 8:00 each morning and that unattended cars should not be in the circle from 8:00-8:45am and 3:00-3:45pm. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Friday, February 6 - Dance at CMS - Cost is $5.00 (CASH ONLY) - Time: 7 - 9:30 PM
Wednesday, February 11 - Mid Six Weeks - Check parent portal for your child's grades
Thursday, February 26 - End of 4th 6 Weeks
Homework Assistance and Tutoring (HAT) meets each Thursday from 3:50 - 5:50. Please make sure your child has a note to stay. Activity buses are provided. If you have any questions, contact Ms. Cook or Mrs. Fox at 863-1726.
Parents!! Have you ever wanted to know what your student's grades are in the middle of the night or over the weekend? You now can view your student's progress from any internet connection. Once you receive your password you can log onto the ACPS Parent Portal. Talk to Ms. Borduas at 863-1727 for more information.

Alleghany County School Board Seeking Public Comment
The Alleghany County and Covington City School Boards are discussing options with regard to forming one merged school division. At their initial meeting, both school boards expressed the importance of public input. As a result, a secure email account has been set up for the purpose of receiving written comments. Persons desiring to submit questions, comments and/or concerns may do so by emailing
