CMS EMAIL NEWSLETTER

Don't forget to subscribe to the CMS Email Newsletter. The newsletter is sent at the end of each six-weeks and is packed with information on what's happening at CMS. All you have to do to receive your copy is send us an email. Please make sure to type the word newsletter in the subject bar and include your name, your student's name, and their grade level in the email.
 

An updated calendar has been released.  Dates to note:

• May 3 - Report Cards for Fifth Six Weeks

• May 22 - Mid 6 Weeks Reports

• May 13-30 - Spring SOL Non-Writing Assessments

• May 27 - Holiday

• June 12 - Anticipated End of School Year; Early Release

Clifton Middle School has a new mascot!  The students and teachers voted and selected a new falcon.  We hope that spirit wear with the new logo will be available soon.

Please don’t forget that if students need a little extra help in a class we offer Homework Assistance and Tutoring (HAT) on Thursday afternoons.  All you need to do is sign a permission slip for your student to stay and activity buses are provided for transportation afterward.  For more information, please see Mr. Wheeler.

 Parents!! Have you ever wanted to know what your student's grades are in the middle of the night or over the weekend? You soon will be able to view your student's progress from any internet connection. Stay tuned for more information. Click here for detailed instructions on how to log into your student's information. Once you receive your password you can log onto the ACPS Parent Portal.  Talk to Lisa Hall at 863-1727 for more information.
