Intramurals attendance is on the rise! Any student who would like to learn the basics of Strength and Conditioning should plan attend especially if you are thinking of playing a sport for either CMS or AHS . Intramurals are held on Mondays and Thursdays after school. Activity buses are available.

CMS would like to thank the Alleghany Highlands YMCA and Alleghany Regional Hospital for helping collect box tops. If for some reason you can not get your Box Tops to CMS, you can drop them off at these locations.

Find out which class is leading for each grade level in our Mid-Year Madness Collection Contest. Mrs. Morris' class taken the lead in our Battle of the Box Tops. We are pleased to announce  that 23 homerooms have collected more than 100 box tops, and two have passed the 900 mark. As a school we just recently passed the 10,500 box top mark since the start of the year, and have passed our goal of 15,000 for the Box Tops Year that ends in February. Check out the current standings of our 2009-2010 contests. Also please take a few minutes of your time to register you support for CMS at the Box Tops for Education official website. Once registered, you can download valuable coupons, and enter contests for CMS to win Box Tops. Currently they have two contests going.

Intramurals continue each Monday & Thursday after school. Students who are interested in playing sports for CMS or AHS are encouraged to attend.

The Falcon Athletic Club has cancelled the January meeting. Please plan on attending our February meeting on February 8th in the cafeteria at 6:00.
