Alleghany County Public Schools Participate in Teacher Recruitment Job Fair

Administrators from  Alleghany County Public Schools participated in the Western Virginia Public Education Consortium Teacher Recruitment Job Fair held at the Salem Civic Center on Friday and Saturday, February 3rd and 4th.  Applications were accepted from a variety of individuals, including college seniors and graduate students enrolled in teacher preparation programs, teachers interested in relocating, and degreed (non-licensed) individuals seeking a new career in education.  "Career switcher" seminars were also provided during the fair.     Sarah Campbell, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, interviews an applicant.   Alleghany High School Principal Kenny Higgins interviews a teacher candidate.
