Elementary Cafeteria’s March Newsletter
The Nutrition Team is
excited to see our students returning to school and want to share with you what
we have planned to celebrate National Nutrition Month, Dr. Seuss’ Birthday and
National School Breakfast Week!
We will be offering a
variety of new fresh fruits and vegetables for students to try and fun
activities related to eating healthy all month.
Breakfast Week March 8th – 12th
us for breakfast and you may be lucky bag or tray winner.
Wear your favorite teams jersey or t-shirt to breakfast.
Be a breakfast champion! Join us for
breakfast and have your picture taken in the winner’s circle.
Pajama Day- take a selfie while enjoying breakfast in your PJ’s at home and send
to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will post pictures from the entire week on
the ACPS social media pages.
Breakfast challenge! If 90% or more
students eat breakfast today, all students will receive a treat tomorrow during
Turn in your activity sheets or coloring sheets to the cafeteria at breakfast
today to help us decorate our serving areas.
The nutrition team is
training hard to get ready for all these fun events in March! We hope you are ready
for the challenge and look forward to seeing you at breakfast and lunch!
