RATIONALE
|
Each year at this time the Board adopts a set of legislative priorities. These priorities are used as talking points in correspondences and lobbying initiatives with state and federal legislators. The proposed legislative priorities have been developed by the Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) and the Virginia Association of School Superintendents (VASS). Consequently, I am confident that they are representative of the most important issues facing Virginia K-12 public education today.
